The goal of this program is for your student to experience 2 weeks of concentrated study improving what he/she knows and getting exposed to new areas of music. New this year is our Intermediate Honors Classical Music Program. An audition and teacher recommendation is necessary in order to be considered for this program. Campers will spend 2 hours of their camp day in special honors classes: Honors Chamber Music and Honors Music Theory & Composition. Based on their audition, honors campers will be placed in small chamber groups of 2-4 students and music will be personally selected for them. The camp will email you complete information on how to obtain this music. Campers will be expected to learn the music before arriving at camp. Our Classical faculty are both performers and educators who are dedicated to giving campers the best experience possible And don't forget to save the date- we end camp with a concert where every camper performs with their class!
