Classical Music Program at a Glance

Our outstanding Classical Music Program offers a variety of performing experiences every day. Our goal is not only to develop ensemble playing, but to also provide opportunities to explore areas usually not found in a Classical music program. Intermediate B and Advanced electives such as Contemporary String Styles, Composition, Jazz Seminar, Master Classes, Intro to Improvisation, Chamber Music, and Contemporary String Ensemble encourage creativity! Our advanced music theory classes are modeled after the innovative experiential music theory curriculum created by Frost School of Music Dean Shelly Berg!
